    I heard of this a while back and decided to try it out. I don't know whether it's something to do with elevators in the UK or something (?) but it didn't seem to work =[

    I've tried it and it works! Sometimes.

    There are some elevators with keyholes so the police do just that, and I think in those they have the combo disabled.

    What's fun is doing this, and then hitting ALL THE BUTTONS on your way out. Go to the top floor, and watch it go floor to floor on it's way down.

    Problem, ground-floor dwellers?

    sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. depends on the elevator manufacturer. if police really need to get to the floor right away, they can just use those fireman keys that controls the elevators.
