Expensive yachts 1

Dubai yacht  pic: richtigteuer.de

Can you guess the price of the most expensive yacht in the world?
A yacht is one of the favorite possessions that the rich like to acquire apart from cars and houses. The word yacht has come from Dutch Jacht meaning “hunt”.
Generally lengths start from 20 ft (6.1 m) up to hundreds of feet. A yacht which is less than 40 feet (12.19 meter) is known as cabin cruiser. It is called a mega yacht which has sail of above 100 feet (30.5 meter) and a super yacht which has sail of about 200 feet (61 meter).

In the following posts I will show you the five most expensive yachts on earth.. uhm I mean in water!   Here we go with number 1.

Dubai (priced at $350 Million)

This 525 feet piece of luxury is owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai. It is also the second largest yacht in the world. Built by Lurssen and Blohm+ Voss, Philippe Starck has done interior designing to house 88 crew members, 115 guests, five VIP suites with open balconies and six guest suites. The yacht also has a helipad, small aircraft hanger, squash court, large pool and other luxuries.  (Picture, see above!)

Fifth in the row is the sand tiger shark. They live in shallow waters and thus are more in contact with humans. Its long teeth make its appearance more deceiving.

Dangerous Sharks 2

Tiger Shark

The tiger shark stands second to the white sharks in the number of attacks on humans. Tiger sharks are known to live in warm waters and this come in regular contact with humans.
Its large size along with the hunting style mostly close to the shore or ocean surface, indiscriminate appetite and natural curiosity makes them predominantly threatening to divers and swimmers.

Dangerous Sharks 1

Are sharks really dangerous?
Well, watching ‘Jaws’ could tell you something about that. Any shark which is bigger than 6 feet (1.8 meters) is a possible threat to humans due to its size and adaptations, like jaws and stronger teeth.
These sharks do not specifically troll for human flesh, often humans are mistaken for seals, sea lions or other common prey animals.
According to the official list issued by Institute of Shark Attack Files (ISAF) of most dangerous sharks the White Shark tops the list with 451 attacks recorded till May 2009. The other followers are Tiger Shark (158 attacks), Bull Shark (120 attacks), Requiem Shark (75 attacks), and Sand Tiger Shark (59 attacks).

Great White Shark
The great white shark is recognized to have most fatal attacks on humans. The danger related with this species is unquestionably associated with its size and the curious way of approaching its assumed prey. Since swimmers and surfers resemble seal or sea lion from below the water, they are mistaken as the shark’s usual prey.

Cocktails: Bloody Mary

Hey guys I am back from my trip to paris and it was amazing, had a lot of fun!
While traveling I thought about cocktails...
Can you imagine vodka mixed with tomato juice being one of the most popular cocktails in the world? That’s what statistics by bartenders say. A cocktail is usually a mixed drink made by mixing distilled beverages like vodka, gin, whiskey, rum or tequila with other ingredients including juice, liqueur, fruits, honey, sauce, cream, milk, spices, and other complementary flavorings. Cocktails vary in many forms, due to the differences in preparation of the drinks. Some of the popular cocktails are:

Bloody Mary
It is a popular cocktail made by mixing vodka with tomato juice, and spices or flavors like Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, beef consommé, horseradish, olive, celery, salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper, celery salt and lemon juice. The Bloody Mary tends to relieve hangovers and is therefore normally taken in the morning.

Dangerous Bridges 4

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge

The famous Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge spans a chasm 80 feet deep. Earlier its structure had only one cable hand bar and broadly placed planks which enabled the people to go across. The single hand bar was later substituted with two hand bar bridge.
The existing one was set up as an additional security measure.Though there is no major accident on record, on many occasions visitors had to be evacuated as they were unable to walk back over the bridge.
Constructed to serve the requirement of local fisher folk, the uniqueness of its construction made it a tourist destination.
