Rose
The scent of a rose has always been a subject of fancy and fantasy to both poets and others alike. There are different types of rose species right from old garden roses to modern hybrid variety. Each color of roses has its own meaning like yellow roses is known for friendship and red roses for true love.

this is so true. roses are much more complex that what people give them credit. just imagine how many species with different smells, textures, colors, size. one can simply identify himself with one, which in my opinion allows poets to get inspired by them.
ReplyDeletewoah they look nice

ReplyDeleteI've always loved roses. They take me back to the roses that grew along the fence line between our yard and the neighbor's. They smelled so wonderful when they bloomed.

ReplyDeleteah yes, The Rose no person in love has not seen a rose without the feeling that it can give to that person when offered as gift or to express that feeling.
ReplyDeleteRoses are the most over-rated flower in the world. I mean I get symbology with love, innocence and perfection, but I just think anybody who uses a flower to describe how they feel are just lazy.
ReplyDeleteDOn't mind me, I'm just being bitter....
